The American City Coalition:

TACC is a Roxbury-based nonprofit tackling community-identified barriers through economic and workforce development, research, and policy strategies that expand pathways to meaningful opportunities in communities of color. At TACC, we believe that cities should work for everyone.

Roxbury Worx:

Our workforce development initiative, Roxbury Worx, focuses on connecting middle-skills and hidden workers from communities of color to career pathways in expanding sectors such as Life Sciences/Biotech, Healthcare, and Green/Blue Technology. Through our engagement efforts, we raise awareness of these industries and equip local residents with the resources and support they need to pursue high-road jobs (e.g., higher wages, predictable annual income, opportunities for advancement, benefits).

This program is supported by a Life Sciences Career Awareness grant from the Mayor's Office of Workforce Development.
