About this Event
World of Commodore (WoC) is an annual gathering for enthusiasts of classic Commodore computers from the 1970s up until the late 1990s. The event features a wide range of these iconic machines, including the Commodore PET, Commodore 64, and Amiga. But that's not all! WoC 2024 will also showcase a variety of other rare and collectible Commodore models. So, if you're a fan of retro computing, mark your calendar for WoC 2024!
What you can expect to find at WoC 2024:
- Information about and displays of a variety of Commodore computers
- Demonstrations of new hardware and software projects using Commodore equipment
- Screenings of Commodore-related videos
- Vendors selling the latest hardware and software available for Commodore computers as well as classic hardware, accessories, applications, games and much more
- The always popular freebie table! Please feel free to drop off any items you no longer want and help yourself to some goodies. You never know what you’ll find!

We don’t have a schedule yet, but these are some of the presentations that will be happening:

- Brian P. Dougherty (tentative): Founder of Berkeley Softworks, creator of GEOS. Co-Founder of iMagic games. Intellivision games developer.
- Greg Naçu: Connect with Clicks: Goes Online.
- John Hammarberg: Will be talking about the C2 Assembler.
- Gareth Poole (tentative): Rust and 6502 .
- Jason Long: Playing SID music in real time on a modular synthesizer.
- Jorge Abreu: A history of the Argentinian Drean Commodore 64.
- Stefan Powell: Experience deep listening through beat frequency compositions on the Commodore 64, crafted with minimalist one-screen BASIC programs
