This year’s celebration includes additional activities on Friday, May 15 and Sunday, May 17.
This event welcomes everyone. Whether you are an experienced birder, a nature enthusiast, or a beginner with curious kids or adults, there are activities for all ages and interests.
Take part in guided bird walks in English and Spanish, explore hands-on education stations, view birds of prey up close, and join expert-led birding field trips.
World Migratory Bird Day is a global celebration that highlights the journeys birds make each year across continents and flyways. World Migratory Bird Day at Walden Ponds Wildlife Habitat

7:30 am–12:30 pm
Bird walks begin at 7:30 am and run every 30 minutes. Education stations open at 9:00 am. Visitors can also take part in a prize giveaway sweepstakes supporting World Migratory Bird Day programs in Latin America.
