Our annual World Goth Day Picnic returns! Please read description:When: Sunday, May 18 at 1pm to 5pm
Where: Marion Diehl Park picnic shelter, 2219 Tyvola Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210
WHAT: This is a goth community picnic. Bring a dish to share (a thread will be posted). We will do a group photo (probably at 3pm) There will be a goth swap table - bring an item and swap it for another item. Music and possibly performances.
WHO: The dark scene community and their spouses/partners/children
RULES:
- Smoking not permitted in county parks (discreetly in parking lot is probably ok)
- No BYOB is allowed (we will be providing a limited amount of beer/wine and will be checking IDs)
- The park forbids drinking in parking lots or near playgrounds and sports areas (stay within 50 feet)
- Kids and dogs are allowed but please be courteous and attentive if they become disruptive. Use discretion, this picnic is geared towards adults.
- Please clean up after yourself. Dispose of trash in bins. We appreciate volunteers who'd like to help clean up.
- There is no dress code but representing your favorite band is great, or goth it up if you want. There will be a group photo.
