Be part of the solution and join us for a morning at the mouth of Gurambai (Rapid Creek) to learn about Ivy Gourd, its impacts on our biodiversity, and what you can do to help in your own backyard.

What to expect:
• A short informative presentation from local Landcare volunteers and the City of Darwin
• Launch of Ivy Gourd mapping project for Casuarina Coastal Reserve
• Hands-on removal of Ivy Gourd from this treasured part of Rapid Creek
• Fun nature-based art activities for kids
Free barista coffee and freshly cooked bacon and egg sandwiches for all participants!!
What to bring:
• covered shoes
• Hat, and sunscreen
• Drinking water
• Gardening gloves (otherwise will also be provided)
• Insect repellent (recommended)
