Soup and bread making
Info: Gathered around the table, we will prepare a traditional Haitian soup. Everyone can get involved in this interactive group activity, regardless of age or skill. Some can tear leafy greens, scrub the root veg, wash herbs. Others can chop, dice, measure and stir. All can make dombray (soup dumplings) and knead bread rolls.

Folkloric Dance Workshop
Info: Learn about the dances embodying Haitian history through movement, music and language.

Haitian Cinema
Info: Screening and Discussion of Madan Sara, a documentary by Haitian filmmaker Etant Dupain, about the backbone of Haiti's economy - the women who put food on the table, in millions, without government backing or financial support. Followed by discussion with Raoul Amisial, Haitian scholar at University of Aberdeen, developing IT platforms to amplify Madan Sara partnerships.
