Join us for our 3rd Annual World AfriCultural Day--a community event the highlights and celebrates Africa and the Diaspora. FREE EVENT.
Our 3rd annual celebration, join us this time on an ethnomusicology journey of drumming from Africa to the Caribbean through music, visual and cultural presentations, featuring the Drumming DJ Yamil Conga.This is an interactive cultural celebration--bring your drum, come ready to dance. Let's highlight the significance of the drum, rhythm and dance in our various cultures and communities. Select countries will be featured. Other event offerings include our marketplace with vendors, artists and others, along with food trucks to satisfy your palette with food and beverages that represent our AfriCultural World.
Arts, Crafts and other activities.Our event, this year, will begin with a powerful community discussion and panel on "Belonging & Identity" as descendants of Africa and members of the African Diaspora.Evening will end with a World AfriCultural dance party!All are welcome!
