‘Crafting Change – Apni Kala Apni Awaz, celebrating 20 years of Rangsutra’, supported by the HCL Foundation, to be held at Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi is envisioned as a multi-format, multi-stakeholder platform that brings together artisans, craft organisations, designers, buyers, policymakers, consumers and institutions working in the livelihoods and craft ecosystem. The event goes beyond celebrating Rangsutra’s work, and instead opens up wider conversations on the future of craft in India, its scale, sustainability and global relevance.
About the Workshops:
Crochet Workshop:
Learn the art of crocheting with expert crafts person Heera Didi. You get to go home with handcrafted crochet coasters. Heera Didi has a rich experience in various craft techniques native to Rajasthan. She is a self-taught crochet artisan. She knows 15 different craft techniques from felting to dyeing to embroidery. She is also a social worker, who has been working with URMUL Setu for the past 15 years.

This workshop offers an opportunity to expand your skills beyond traditional crochet and experiment with more durable materials.
Tie and Natural Dyeing Workshop:
Learn the art of tie and natural dyeing with expert crafts person Shobha Didi. You get to go home with handcrafted tie-dyed napkins. Shobha Didi is an expert in natural dyeing.
