This workshop is open to participants with interest in dance/movement practices/performing arts. It provides a platform and invitation to explore the intricate connection between sensory perception and movement expression, all while examining the profound influence of movement on our relationships and experience of the world. Through diverse movement practices integrating performative and somatic methodologies and research, we will observe and experiment with what is moving us, encompassing the embodiment of various forms of memory, cultural conditioning, and subtle internal motion. These practices deepen our connection with embodied curiosity and knowing, enhancing our ability to perceive and respond from multiple perspectives.
