Theresa Southam is an author, educator, and trainer on trauma wisdom and transformative social change. She recently published "Transforming Trauma through Social Change: A Guide for Educators".In this workshop, members of community organizations will participate in activities that demonstrate (1) how to prepare for a community trauma, (2) reflect on responses to past traumas, and (3) memorialize traumas in a way that challenges destructive colonialized systems. Each participant will be able to co-create more resilient visions for the future with their organization’s members.
