ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Lia Liuwenxin is a versatile classically trained violinist, teacher and entrepreneur. She graduated in music performance from the Xi’an Conservatory of Music and studied with Li Qihua, the deputy principal of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.
She is the founder of the violin studio Tiny Music academy with multiple teachers on her staff. Her students consistently excel in grade examinations and performances with exceptional finesse in their technique.
As versatile as Lia is, she doesn’t limit herself to teaching. She is a regular performer in several concerts featuring Classical/Film music like the Candlelight concert series and contemporary genres like Jazz with singer Michelle Nicolle. She has appeared in regular tours with JJ Lin between 2020 and 2023, and has performed in several countries such like China, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and Spain.
