STUFF THAT WORKS! Songwriting Workshop with Linda McRae
We are honoured to kick off the Coldsnap Workshop/IceJam events with a songwriting workshop hosted by the one and only Linda McRae. Everybody has a story to tell. Let’s explore ways to find your unique voice and create your own stories. Got writer’s block? Linda will present a raft of tips and tricks to get the creative juices flowing again. Open to all levels and experiences. Bring a writing utensil, no instrument needed.
With generous support from Integris, a Division of Coastal Community Credit Union, Lheidli T’enneh First Nation, BCLC, Omineca Arts Centre, The Prince George Public Library and CFUR Radio Society, Coldsnap’s free-to-attend daytime series of workshops and IceJams are back for Coldsnap 2026. For those unfamiliar, ‘IceJams’ are free-to-attend afternoon mini-concerts featuring Coldsnap artists. and workshops are more hands-on, education-based sessions led by musicians talking about the art of making music.
