Melodies in Motion with Aleksi Campagne
Come in from the cold for an exciting IceJam at the Brunswick Street Senior Activity Centre in Prince George featuring a contemporary indie-folk take on the time-honoured fiddle-singing tradition. Aleksi Campagne was raised on stages performing alongside his mother - Canadian folk icon Connie Kaldor. Influenced by classical and jazz training, Aleksi highlights the meeting point of tradition and modern indie-folk music. This performance offers an inviting and thoughtful listening experience.
With generous support from Integris, a Division of Coastal Community Credit Union, Lheidli T’enneh First Nation, BCLC, Omineca Arts Centre, The Prince George Public Library and CFUR Radio Society, Coldsnap’s free-to-attend daytime series of workshops and IceJams are back for Coldsnap 2026. For those unfamiliar, ‘IceJams’ are free-to-attend afternoon mini-concerts featuring Coldsnap artists. and workshops are more hands-on, education-based sessions led by musicians talking about the art of making music.
