The first part of public speaking is writing a great speech
About this Event

Let's spend an hour studying speechwriting fundamentals.

1 - The overall essay writing speech structure

2 - The goal of the introduction

3 - The goal of the body

4 - The goal of the conclusion

5 - Understanding the audience

One of the reasons people fear public speaking is that they are not confident in their speech. They have a hard time writing it, and they're not sure if it'll work with an audience. Once you know what the basic structure of a speech is doing, then you'll feel confident in your speeches.

A great speech comes down to two things: content and delivery. This workshop doesn't cover delivery. It is focused on the content, the speechwriting.
