WORKSHOP: Painting with Scissors workshop
Sunday 28th July 2 - 4.15pm
Using colourful painted papers, acrylic paint pens and mixed media, we will craft a beautiful botanical composition from cut paper shapes, drawing and mark making.
We will take inspiration from the plants in the greenhouse and go wild with colour and abstract shapes!
Suitable for all levels. Although you must be +16 years old.
50% of sales will be generously donated to Alexandra Park Greenhouse
About Amanda Prouten
Mixed-media artist and textile designer living in Hastings.
Amanda’s work is a joyful mash-up of painting, drawing, collage, digital and photography to produce vibrant-coloured, bold images.
Her botanical-themed psychedelic designs celebrate the energy and wonder of nature and connection to the natural world. The artwork portrays the enchanting, surreal world of animism that rises through the subconscious from the earth.
