In this workshop we will be exploring and pushing ourselves to develop, nurture and find out what sort of characters you can do. We will also find out how to best perform them and integrate them in improv scenes.

Instructor: Lou Gonzalez

About the Instructor: Lou Gonzalez Jr (he/she/they) is a veteran comedian (The Other Two, Search Party, Black Bear) based in NYC. Lou has been performing and teaching improv for 15 years. They are the former UCBNY Academic Director and their expertise has been used to consult for Nike, Hulu, Spotify, Cartier and other major brands. Their teaching was featured on NPR stating “Taking classes with Lou felt more than just taking a class”. So yeah, she is that girl!
