Let's introduce the third dance teacher, we will gradually introduce the other three to you in the following events:
Alicja Schwertner - Ochmańska: Dance has been Alicja’s greatest passion since childhood. As a young girl, she attended various dance courses. At the age of 11, she became the leader of her school’s cheerleading group, a role she continued until the end of high school. Around the age of 12, Alicja watched her first Bollywood movie (Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham), she immediately fell in love with the sheer joy of movement, vibrant colours, and expressive nature of Indian dance. She began teaching herself, watching films and videos on YouTube, and later honed her skills in workshops of various Indian styles, especially Kathak. Over 15 years ago, she joined an Indian dance group. Since then, she has choreographed and performed numerous dances at cultural and commercial events, during international trips, and even on national television. About three years ago, her passion for dance expanded to include other styles—mainly Afro styles, Dancehall, and Commercial. She now enjoys blending these influences into her Bollywood routines, creating modern Bolly-fusion choreographies.
💃🏻On Saturday, you can enjoy the “Bollywood afro” dance workshop with Alicja from 13:45-15:15 at the Naplno studio, Štěpánská 640/45, Prague 1.
