Workshop: Block Print Holiday Gift Wrap

This workshop inspires a special touch of personalization to gift giving during the holidays, allowing for unique and one-of-a-kind gifts!

Steps include:

1. Learn block printing! We will discuss simple block printing instructions and how the process works (drawing your design, carving onto linoleum, printing with ink onto surface). This is an entry-level class, and each step will be demonstrated.

2. Print onto gift wrap. Guests will print their carved blocks onto the gift wrapping paper. There will be a demonstration of how to print cohesive designs, but this is where imagination and creativity lead to personalized gift wrapping.

3. Finalize print designs for wrapping. Guests will have an assortment of gift wrapping materials and can complement their designs with other materials (ribbon, buttons, stickers, leaves, etc.).

4. Take home! Guests will end the workshop with multiple printed gift wraps for their holiday gifts. Guests will also take home an informational hand-out and their carved blocks, which can be reused at home!
