About this Event
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll taste and compare different buttercreams, make your own from scratch, and learn how to fill, crumb coat, and smoothly frost a cake. We’ll practice simple buttercream decoration techniques, florals, and elegant metallic accents, so you leave with a beautifully finished cake and the confidence to recreate it at home. Cakes are pre-made and provided for this course, unless the participant purchases a workshop bundle including the Cake and Cupcake Baking
Lab.
Light snacks and beverages provided (we will also be taste-testing baked goods).

Session Length: Approximately 3 hours
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Prepare and compare multiple buttercream styles.
- Adjust buttercream for flavor, color, and texture.
- Apply crumb coat and final coat techniques.
- Frost and fill a cake
- Execute a simple professional cake design.
- Evaluate buttercream performance for stability and taste.
