Workshop 2: Biblical Environmental Stewardship in Action: Bridging Biblical Practices and Modern Science for Creation Care
Speaker: Emmanuel Turkson (Creation Care Engagement Officer, A Rocha, Ghana)
Welcome to the second of three workshops where we explore the intersection of faith and science in creation care from a Pentecostal perspective. Join us for insightful discussions and thought-provoking presentations. These events are aimed at African and African-diaspora Pentecostal church leaders in all areas of ministry. Whether paid or voluntary, if you have a role in leading people in your church then these events are for you.
In this second workshop delves into environmental actions in the Bible, exploring their underlying scientific principles and their relevance for advancing creation care today. It examines biblical examples where environmental stewardship intersected with wisdom, ecology, and sustainability, drawing connections to contemporary scientific knowledge and environmental challenges.
