About this Event
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll compare real cookie and brownie recipes, experiment with ingredient swaps like butter vs. vegan butter and egg vs. flax, and bake side-by-side variations to see how texture and flavor change. It’s part experiment, part tasting lab, and part guided kitchen session, designed to make baking feel approachable. You’ll taste, predict, and troubleshoot together, turning baking from guesswork into something that finally makes sense. Participants take home all of their individual baked goods.
Session Length: Approximately 2 - 2.25 hours
Cost: $85 plus tax. (~$90 total)
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Analyze baking recipes to identify structural and functional ingredients.
- Select appropriate substitutions for eggs, dairy, and gluten.
