How can you avoid being overwhelmed or reactive when you experience anger or sorrow? How can you relate to emotions in a skilful way?In this retreat, we will use the lenses of Western and Buddhist psychology to learn about our emotions in an experiential way.
From how to ground ourselves, in order to not get pulled around by our emotion, to how to understand our emotions and connect them to our needs. Together we will learn to recognise and acknowledge our different emotional states and create space for appropriate responses to arise.
Rarely do we have the conditions to bring our emotional life to the forefront and hear from others about their experience of emotions. This retreat provides a meditative space to be with our emotions in a supported community of practice.
