About this Event

The Calderdale Anti-Poverty Partnership, in collaboration with Healthy Holidays Calderdale, are hosting this event focused on working together to end child poverty.

The event will provide an opportunity for networking and collaboration, sharing the latest national and local updates and data, featuring expert presentations and the voices of children, young people and their parents and carers. Agenda to follow.


Event aims:

Celebrate Healthy Holidays Achievements: Showcase the success, growth, and impact of the Healthy Holidays Calderdale programme on children, families, and communities.

Highlight Strategic Partnerships: Demonstrate Calderdale’s collaborative, system-wide approach to tackling poverty through effective partnerships across council services, voluntary sector, health, and education.

Influence National Conversations: Position Calderdale as a national leader in child poverty initiatives and Healthy Holidays delivery, sharing learning and innovation with wider stakeholders.

Strengthen Local Networks: Bring together senior leaders, local authorities, service providers, schools and community partners to build connections and foster future collaboration.

Embed Learning into Future Strategy and Approach: Explore how local initiatives can be integrated into Calderdale’s wider anti-poverty, health and wellbeing, and starting and developing well action plans and strategies.

This event is for frontline workers, volunteers, managers and community leaders from a variety of sectors, including:

  • Teaching and education staff
  • NHS & health professionals
  • Employment/skills support services / organisations
  • Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector
  • Social workers
  • Community workers
  • Local councillors
  • Staff and volunteers from organisations with an interest in tackling child poverty

Networking Lunch

We are pleased to be able to provide a light lunch and teas and coffees for attendees from 11.30am. The event programme will start at 12pm.
