WORKING FAMILIES LEGISLATIVE FORUMNovember 8-9, 2025
1:00-3:00 PM (Doors open at 12:30 PM)
Labor Temple, 101 S Fairfax Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD
FREE • FAMILY-FRIENDLY • ALL VOICES WELCOME
Your voice. Your community. Your legislation.
South Dakota grows stronger when working people have a real seat at the table. Join us for two days of conversation, collaboration, and community-building as we identify legislation that supports working families across our state.
This is not your typical forum. It's neighbors, elected officials, and community members working together to solve real problems.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Everyone is welcome! Union members, small business owners, parents, educators, healthcare workers, retirees, students, elected officials, candidates—if you care about fairness and strong communities, this forum is for you.
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE FORUM?
✅ Structured discussions where ALL voices are heard equally
✅ Direct conversations with elected officials and legislative candidates
✅ Real-time documentation of your ideas and priorities
✅ Food and refreshments provided
✅ Social gathering afterward to continue the conversation
CAN'T ATTEND IN PERSON?
We've got you covered with multiple ways to participate:
Online Platform – Follow the discussion and submit ideas remotely
Legislative Survey – Share your priorities whether you're coming or not
Everyone who RSVPs (even if you can't attend) will receive access to both!
WHAT TOPICS WILL WE COVER?
Whatever matters most to YOU:
Wages and fair compensation
