Interactive workshop on mentoring, leadership, teamwork, and collaboration for engineering students.
About this Event

Engineering is not just about technical skills, it is also about how we work with people.

Join us for an interactive end-of-semester workshop for UniMelb FEIT students exploring mentoring, leadership, teamwork, and collaboration in engineering and project environments. Through real-world scenarios, role play, structured negotiation, peer discussion, and conversation with experienced engineering leaders, students will reflect on common team challenges and develop practical strategies for working effectively with others.

This session is designed for students preparing for industry, capstone projects, and professional teamwork environments. Held at the end of the semester, this is a moment of celebration and reflection for students.

Refreshments will be provided.

Guest contributors:
Professor Doreen Thomas - Honorary (Professor Emeritus)
Professor Elaine Wong - Pro Vice-Chancellor (People and Equity)
