Erie Arts and Culture and HopeCAT are bringing Working Artist 101 to Sharon! Working Artist 101 teaches foundational skills for building sustainable businesses- by artists, and for artists. All are welcome, whether you're a hobbyist, a student, or full-time artist. These workshops combine peer-to-peer learning, lecture, worksheets, and take-home exercises to accommodate a variety of lived experiences and learning styles.
Join us in-person at HopeCAT or virtually over Zoom on Monday, March 30 from 6-8pm (in-person networking starts at 5:30!)
This session covers two topics:
-The Business of Art: Engaging Customers and Selling Your Work
-Finance and Recordkeeping
After participating in Working Artist 101, artists and creative entrepreneurs feel confident and prepared to access traditional business resources, including those offered by PennState LaunchBox, Bridgeway Capital, and the Beehive Network. We encourage participants to apply for grant support through Erie Arts & Culture and the PA Creative Industries, among others.
Here's what past participants had to say:
"The interaction was great among presenters. I really enjoyed today's workshop!"
"It was really great! The worksheets are so helpful."
This is a FREE session, so don't delay! Register to attend here: https://forms.gle/s8D96nkKE9X4hhBB9
