About this Event

We're discussing an extremely important topic at our next Workplace Wellbeing Ireland event in Dublin.

Our fantastic host location is ESB's brand new HQ.

Our theme for the session is "Hybrid Working – Benefits and challenges to health and wellbeing". On the day we are privileged to have a fantastic speaker and panel to discuss this in detail. The start time is 4PM - please only register if you are 100% SURE you can attend.

September 26th 2024: Speaker Profile

Professor Adele Grazi, Centre for Innovative Human Systems (CIHS), School of Psychology, Trinity College Dublin

Adele's research interests are in the area of workplace wellbeing, sustainability, organisational trust, proactivity and employee voice and silence. She is very passionate of workplace wellbeing and sustainability, believing there is an important link between the two. She has developed courses in workplace wellbeing and green sustainable organisations and is currently supervising students at undergraduate and Master level. Adele is part of the Workplace Wellbeing committee in Trinity College and is developing a documentary on sustainability.

Research

Adele is involved in several Wellbeing research projects and has recently completed the data collection on a longitudinal study on hybrid work. The research involves understanding the benefits and challenges of hybrid work for employees. Specifically, it highlights different needs that employees and leaders (i.e. team supervisors, management and leaders) might have in the hybrid work context. Exploring both work-related and relationship related needs.

1. Share without expecting anything in return

2. Have fun and respect everyone

3. Make friends, not contacts

Community

As well as the wonderful speakers, the event will be a fantastic opportunity to meet new people that are passionate about wellness in Irish workplaces. There will be a chance to share experiences, to ask questions and to brainstorm future ideas. With this in mind please arrive early to allow plenty of time for chatting and making new friends on the evening.

It won't be possible to answer every single question at the event but don't worry. You can join the Workplace Wellbeing Ireland community on LinkedIn so you can engage and interact as well as staying updated on this event and our future meet ups.

The importance of investing in the health of our workforce is slowly being understood. I believe that by working together we can build on the momentum and share this message with many more people while at the same time improving the quality of the services that we offer.

Yours in health, Brian
