Samuel "Sami" Miranda is a visual artist, poet, filmmaker and high school teacher. His books include Protection from Erasure, We Is, and the forthcoming Unhurried. He has performed his poetry, facilitated poetry workshops, and exhibited his artwork internationally, and collaborated on several films. Sami also manages programming for the American Poetry Museum and serves as its Executive Director.
