Tom Sastry is political, ironic, emotional, morbid and funny in all the wrong places. His latest collection Life Expectancy Begins To Fall was described by Jonathan Edwards as “the most important – and certainly the most entertaining – book about the end of the world I’ve yet found”
Tom’s previous books have been (variously) Poetry School Book of the Year, Poetry Book Society pamphlet choice, highly commended in the Forward Prize and shortlisted for the Seamus Heaney First Collection Prize.
Rachel Bentham has had numerous short stories, docudramas and plays broadcast by BBC Radio Four, and won prizes for scriptwriting and poetry. For many years, she was a Royal Literary Fellow, working with students and staff at the Universities of Cardiff, Cardiff Met, Bath, Exeter and Bristol.
Currently, Dr Bentham teaches lifewriting, memoir and general creative writing at the Universities of Bristol and Oxford. Her most recent collection Heartwood (Tangent Books) is ‘a love letter to trees, a cry of pain, a call to arms.’
A. C. Bevan’s work has appeared in numerous literary magazines, newspapers, & anthologies in the UK, Europe and the US; on Radio 4’s Poetry Please; the Science Museum website; and as a poster on a Channel Island bus. His most recent collection Poundlandia is published by Mica Press.
