About the Event:The “In My Shoes” 5K/3K Walk brings together people from all walks of life to move our bodies, share stories, and envision a brighter Portland. It's a time to build connections, amplify community voices, and show up for each other with purpose.

More than just a walk—it’s a Community Gathering!🎉 Enjoy free breakfast and lunch courtesy of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. of the Portland Fire Department and Old Town Pizza💇🏽‍♂️ Free haircuts available on-site🛍 Family-friendly vendors, games, and community resource booths🎤 Hear powerful stories from local leaders, small business owners, and neighbors who believe in the future of our city

We Believe in PortlandThis year’s walk continues the "We Believe in Portland" theme, part of our campaign with Old Town Pizza & Brewing. Show your pride and solidarity by wearing the official event t-shirt—available at the event or online: otbrewing.com/shop. Proceeds benefit Word is Bond programming.

Accessibility:Everyone is welcome. The walk route is accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, and all wheeled mobility devices. For safety reasons, we ask that bicycles, skateboards, and other wheeled sports equipment stay off the walk route.
