𝗪𝗜𝗣 𝗫 𝗗𝗘 𝗚𝗨𝗗𝗗𝗘 𝗪𝗘̈𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡 Inspired by the Parisian Work In Progress evenings, the concept behind Word in Progress (WIP) is simple and original: to create a genuine exchange between the audience and the writer while offering a glimpse of a work in the making. Invited authors read, for ten minutes, an unpublished text that is still in the process of being written.
Afterwards, it’s the audience’s turn to take part: they share their impressions and ask the author about their work in progress, guided by a “writer’s executioner” who helps steer and structure the discussion.
𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗜𝗣 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗮𝘁 𝟴 𝗽𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗲 𝗪𝗲̈𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗮 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗶, 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗯𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘇𝗲𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗵𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗚𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗻. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗰𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗻.
The evening will continue with a DJ set by Christophe Demart.
