About this Event
You’re invited to join Trust for Public Land for a community check-in meeting on Woody Branch Park on Thursday, April 23rd from 6:00PM-7:45PM in the CAFETERIA of Mark Twain School for the Talented and Gifted! This meeting is part of an ongoing series designed to help neighbors understand Phase 1 of the project near the I-35 entrance and to continue the conversation of the masterplan for the park.
We’ll provide an opportunity to learn more about the plans for this first phase, ask questions, and share your thoughts. These check-ins are meant to keep the community informed, create space for conversation, and ensure everyone has a chance to stay connected as the park takes shape. Whether you’re curious about the design, interested in how the park will serve the neighborhood, or just want to be part of the discussion, we welcome you to join and be part of shaping Woody Branch Park’s future.
Free food and drinks will be provided. Spanish interpretation will be offered.
The parking lot off Oak Trail will be made available for meeting attendees.

About Woody Branch Park
Trust for Public Land (TPL) and Dallas Park and Recreation Department are partnering to bring to life an 82-acre park in the heart of District 4, right along the beautiful Woody Branch of Five Mile Creek. This park is part of the Five Mile Creek Urban Greenbelt Master Plan—a vision to create parks and natural spaces across Oak Cliff.
We are excited to begin designing the park and need your input to help develop a master plan that brings your ideas to life and meets the needs of everyone in the neighborhoods surrounding the park.

Acerca del Parque Woody Branch
Trust for Public Land (TPL) y Dallas Park and Recreation Department están trabajando juntos para dar vida a un parque de 82 acres en el corazón del Distrito 4, justo a lo largo del hermoso "Woody Branch" del Arroyo Five Mile. Este parque forma parte del Plan Maestro del Cinturón Verde Urbano del Arroyo Five Mile, cuyo objetivo es crear parques y espacios naturales en Oak Cliff.
