The City of Woodstock invites the community to kick off the holiday season at the 29th Annual Christmas Jubilee & Parade of Lights on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Downtown Woodstock.
The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m., starting from Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Road and traveling down Main Street to Sam’s Club at Highway 92. Roads will close at 5:15 p.m. for the parade, and residents are encouraged to plan ahead for detours and parking. Rain or shine, unless inclement weather arises, the Christmas Jubilee is set to bring lights, music, and cheer to the heart of the city.
Before the parade, guests are encouraged to enjoy downtown shopping all day and grab a bite to eat from local restaurants or food vendors before the festivities begin.
After the parade, everyone is invited to continue the celebration at The Park at City Center with activities and entertainment, including:
•Santa Claus in the Gazebo – Bring your wish list and visit with Santa!
•Official 30’ Christmas Tree Lighting with Santa and Mayor Michael Caldwell.
•Parade Float Awards for Best Holiday, Most Original, Most Spirited, and the People’s Choice.
•Ronnie the DJ, vendors, and food before, during, and after the parade.
•Free Sugar Plum Cupcake Decorating along with cookies, hot cider, and hot chocolate.
•Free Kris Kringle Kidz Kraft Area with crafts and take-home creations.
•Free Kids Activities including carnival games, mini golf, and inflatables.
•Santa’s Mailbox at the Gazebo (November 27–December 14). Kids can drop off letters to Santa and receive a personalized response.
“The Christmas Jubilee & Parade of Lights has been a cherished Woodstock tradition for nearly three decades,” said Woodstock Parks and Recreation Director Brian Borden. “It’s a time for neighbors and visitors alike to come together and celebrate the season in the heart of our city.”
