About this Event
This hour of skill sharing is for LMS members who've taken BASICS: Woodworking - Saws & Blades and BASICS Woodworking - planer, sander and jointer.
This is a guided meetup for members to spend an hour on a piece of equipment to share or sharpen their knowledge together. While it's not a class, its a great time to recall how to safely operate equipment in the woodshop with two helpful woodshop volunteers at the ready and a different focus for the group every month. February's focus will be on the table saw.
Members can learn, practice, get advice or help out in this hands on Skillshare! This month, the team will be showing members how to change to dado blades, use the jigs, assemble and dissasemble accessories for the table saw. This special monthly opportunity is hosted by two wonderful LMS woodshop volunteers, Bill and Miranda!
While this skillshare hour is free for members, space is limited. Please grab your ticket to reserve your space. In the first few meetings, members will set an agenda, brush up their skills and pick a focus for the next skill share meet up in March. Come with your questions and suggestions!
* some online classes are available for those wishing to brush up ahead of time *
