About this Event
Woodshed Collective is unified by a shared passion for performing and composing jazz in its many forms.
The band takes its inspiration from traditional artists such as Charlie Parker, Miles Davis and Cannonball Adderley, aiming to develop their own sound based on the trademark sounds of these artists.
The collective consists of Olli Bonada on the piano, saxophonist David Sotunde, experienced bassist Darren Randle and drummer Luke Komlosy.
The quartet is looking forward to bringing their sound to Central Library's Henry Watson Music Library for a special lunchtime show, with their one-hour setlist includes upcoming original single 'Spiralling' as well as classic standards such as 'Take the "A" Train' and 'My Favorite Things'.
Tickets are just 'pay-what-you-can'.
All donations go to Manchester Libraries.
