Woodland Walk with Winter Solstice Blessing (Sun 21st Dec)

Celebrate the Winter Solstice with an stunning woodland walk and a soul searching winter blessing around the fire at the Hurtwood Hideout.
Join us on this gorgeous 8km/ 5miles route across magical Hurtwood woodland and some very idyllic view spots, perfect for a winter stroll.
The winter solstice represents a time of reflection and rest. During the Winter Solstice nature prepares for dormancy, and also for us the season symbolizes a period of pausing and taking time to reflect and connect with the inner light enabling us to radiate warmth into the dark days of winter. Our Winter blessing will salute the beginning of the winter and allow you to take time to reflect and go inwards.
We are hoping to hold a short Winter Solstice reflection with Danielle the Wellbeing Coach outside, around the fire pit and then continue gathering around the fire with a winter warming drink.
If weather doesnt allow, we will move to the indoor fire place at the Hideout Cafe.
A complimentary warming cup of Mulled wine or Hot chocolate will be provided. Food can be purchased at the cafe.
The event will be held at the Hurtwood Hideout nestles in over 4,000 acres of breathtaking woodland scenery in the Surrey Hills, only 30 miles from London.
It is the perfect place start and end our walk. The Hideout is a rural self-catering accommodation surrounded by woodlands and hiking trails, with a cafe, cycle hub and accomodation. Why not make a weekend of it.
Afterwards we’ll head back on our circular route as the sun is setting in the distance.
