Looking for some FREE Easter holiday fun for the kids? 🌿
Join Woodland Wakeup for a fun-filled outdoor nature session at Eglinton Country Park thanks to funding from The National Lottery.🌲
⚠️ Limited spaces – booking essential
Children will enjoy a mix of adventure, creativity and free play in a safe, supportive environment led by experienced outdoor leaders.
Activities may include:
- Fire lighting & marshmallows 🔥
- Tool use 🪵
- Nature crafts & bushcraft 🍃
- Hammocks & tree swings 🌳
- Den building
- Exploring the woods
- Plenty of free, child-led play
Our sessions are designed to:
- Build confidence
- Support wellbeing
- Encourage independence
- Help children connect with nature, self and others
📍 Location: Eglinton Country Park
This session is aimed at primary school aged children. Older children who are happy to join in are also welcome.

Free tickets available (donations welcome if you’re able 💚) Woodland Wakeup is a charity and your support helps us continue to run sessions like this.
Please dress for the weather and mud — old clothes, cosy layers and sturdy shoes are essential. Bring a healthy lunch / drink, a sense of fun and adventure and an open mind!
