About this Event
Woodland Tabletop Garden Workshop at Crook Hall Gardens, Durham
Saturday 16th May, 11am
💥 Access to Crook Hall Gardens is not step free, if you have any mobility concerns, please get in touch.
Inspired by the enchanting gardens of Crook Hall, this hands-on workshop invites you to create your very own planted design, featuring ferns, trailing ivy, and other greenery nestled among bark, twigs, moss, pinecones, and charming woodland accents. It’s like a mini forest for your table - but without the bugs!
Because we’re using living plants, your creation will last, but it’s easy to refresh or rearrange whenever you fancy a new look. Along the way, you’ll pick up tips for designing with planted materials, learning how to layer, texture, and style your own little indoor woodland.
No experience needed; just bring your love of nature and by the end, you’ll have a gorgeous tabletop garden to take home and enjoy, or to impress your friends with your newfound woodland styling skills!
Our workshops at The Northern Flower Garden are always fun and supportive where I demonstrate professional floristry techniques, share the tips and tricks and we’ll keep the creativity flowing with crafted drinks and homemade bakes from the Crook Hall National Trust team.
⏰ Duration: up to 2 hours.
