Would you like to help improve a lovely but neglected corner of our local area?We've not had a volunteering session for ages and so we're pleased to confirm our next will be Sunday 1st March between 1pm-3pm.
We're hoping for enthusiastic locals of all ages to help us make a difference. Our local WBC Forest Park Ranger Dave will be attending, providing tools, PPE and safety briefing, so no prior experience necessary.
We'll be cutting back any growth where necessary, generally tidying up the area close ponds across from the Walled Garden, to help make it a more inviting place to visit.
Meet us on the footpath that heads to Birchwood Centre as you go under Birchwood Way, close to the pond across from the Walled Garden. Please be there just before 1pm so you can hear the safety briefing and collect your kit.
