🌿Come out to Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge on April 18th from 10-1pm for their Native Plant Sale!!“Fill your garden with native plants! Our native plant sale is an exciting and inclusive event for everyone that promotes environmental sustainability and engages the community in appreciating and preserving local biodiversity.“
🍅 I will be there doing a tomato plant seed starter green house bag and talking about the importance of gardening, fruits and veggies, and we will end with two worksheets regarding the life cycle of a tomato plant! The kids will leave with a 4inch nursery pot and soil to transplant their seedling, once it’s reached its potential! They will know how to care for it before leaving!

Session 1 starts at 11am session 2 starts at 1pm. Both sessions are $35 a person and last about an hour.
Ages 8+ please. $35/person. Members save 10%. 44 participants maximum. Advanced registration required.
🪴This is a great way to teach your child about the importance of plants, life cycles of vegetable seed to table, and getting their hands in soil!
