Course Content:
Examination of different types of wood, including their specific uses, strengths, and weaknesses.
Overview of various woodworking tools, their purposes, and their proper and safe usage.
Exploration of dowelling techniques as an alternative to using nails for wood joining.
Practical demonstrations, including whittling to create a decorated marshmallow stick, making a mallet, a peg, and a whistle.
