You are cordially invited to join us for Swing Dance Classes:Sunday Nights, Mar 9-April 27, 2025 (7-Week Session)
Tuition is $125 per person for each 7-Week Class (Beginner, Intermediate, Routine).
Special discount! Save $20 off the total price when you sign up for both Intermediate and Routine Classes; discount is automatically applied when you put both classes in your shopping cart. A partner is highly recommended for the Routine Class (especially for the aerials), but not required.
Class Schedule:
5-6 PM Beginner Class - See Notes 1,4,5 below.
6-7 PM Intermediate/Advanced Class (Boogie Woogie Country Girl) - See Notes 2,4,5 below.
7-8 PM Bugle Boy Routine Performance Class - See Notes 3,4,5 below.
Additional Routine Practice Time: 8-8:30PM for the Bugle Boy Routine Class.
We also plan to practice other past routines for those who know them this session (e.g., Gottaswing Boogie Woogie Routine, In the Mood, Feeling Happy, etc.) for future performances.
You will be given advanced warning so that you can practice on your own before coming to the studio.
You can also use the other dance rooms to practice on your own.

Note 1: Beginner Class Details.
Learn the essentials! Our beginner class series takes you through the basic fundamentals of swing: six-count, eight-count Lindy Whip and Circle, and Side-by-Side, Turning, and Tandem Charleston.

Note 2: Intermediate/Advanced Class Details.
The "Boogie Woogie Country Girl" Routine moves (made up of socially leadable moves), will be taught during this upcoming session at a normal class pace. Moves and variations to be taught in class, not as a routine. This one may also be used by Janice & Glenn for future performances, with added aerials, since Glenn really likes the song.

Note 3: Bugle Boy Routine Class Details. This class provides a faster-paced routine for more experienced dancers to broaden their dance repertoire, and improve their skill level and dance techniques to enable them to perform routines. This session will be the "Bugle Boy" routine so that dancers can perform when attending Silver Tones Swing Band Dances, and other performances with us.

Note 4: All Classes. You can practice in one of the other 3 dance rooms while not in class.
Note 5: All currently registered students, and students that have registered for this next session, will be invited Saturday, 8 Mar 2025 from 11AM-2PM as part of the End of Session potluck at Glenn & Janice's home. Contact Glenn with questions.
