Join us for this fun ecology focused foray at Butte Creek Ecological Reserve. We will focus in on how fungi are interconnected with our world, with us and ways fungi communicate through the Wood Wide Web, we'll take a walk, explore and discuss how previous fires have affected the area and how local indigenous ecological knowledge and stewardship has helped reshape and restore the landscape. North Sierra Spore Society would like to recognize we are on occupied indigenous territory and ask that all attendees are respectful of the preserve and those that care for it. This will be an informational foray, and we ask that our members not harvest or collect any specimens while on the preserve.
