Kindled Community Sauna in partnership with Forward Thai Boxing would like to invite you to experience a community wood-fired sauna + cold plunge session. Kindled is born from a dream of leading people toward wellness and toward a connection with others. Sauna has the ability to strip us down both mentally and physically – lighter clothing, no screens, more vulnerability, limited status symbols. Facing the heat and overcoming it fosters grit, resilience, and relaxation.
There is no rigid structure to these sauna sessions. For a 60-minute session, move through the thermic cycle of hot sauna, cold plunge, rest, rehydrate, and repeat how it feels best to your body. These are community sessions, where you will sauna alongside up to 5 other folks – the sauna seats 6 at a time (2 per bench).
Arrive wearing what you feel comfortable getting sweaty and/or wet in. Some choose a bathing suit, some wear shorts, t-shirt, sports bra, etc. Please come well hydrated! Bring a full water bottle. Bring two towels – one to sit on in the sauna and one to dry off with after. Slip on shoes can be handy to move in and out of the sauna.
Forward Thai Boxing will be open to store personal belongings, use bathrooms, refill water bottles, and hang out before/after the session.
An email with more details and a waiver for you to sign will be sent out a day or two prior to your session from Kindled Community Sauna. Please beware it could go to your junk email.
If you sign up and are no longer able to make it, please let us know! If you do so more than 24 in advance, a credit for a future session will be issued. With shorter notice, this will not be possible. Thank you for your understanding.
