About this Event
Over the last few years, podcasts have become an indispensible element in think tank communications.
Research communicators have seized on the opportunity to raise their profile among key audiences as well as develop new audiences for their work. They are powerful tools for storytelling and information dissemination, making them ideal for think tanks aiming to reach broader audiences and influence policy. But how can think tanks effectively leverage podcasting?
At this WonkComms Breakfast Club, we will discuss what it is that makes podcasts such a great medium for think tanks, how to build an audience, what success look like for a think tank podcast, and how to measure it. We also want to talk about your experiences of podcasting for research comms – what lessons you have learned and how you think the format will develop.
Our conversation will be kickstarted by Sébastien Vannier, Press Spokesman at the Centre Marc Bloch; and Julia Reger, Project Officer for Digital Education Resources at the Heinrich Böll Foundation, who will share practical insights and examples of their think tank podcasts.
Coffee, croissants and comms – what could be a better start to your morning?
