This event is a part of the Manitoba Pinball Championship Weekend April 17th to 19th.
Entry fee: $10 PLUS $5 venue fee — ALL GAMES ON FREE PLAY!
In-person registration and practice from 10:45 AM - 11:45 AM
Round Robin Max Matchplay (head to head) format - maximum of 11 rounds. Approximate runtime of 2 hours plus 1 hour for playoffs.
Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and hardware!!!
We will play up to a maximum of 11 qualifying rounds depending on the number of players. This means that you may not play all opponents in the round robin if there are more than 12 players, or that you may play an opponent more than once if there are less than 12 players.
Should the number of players reach 16, then two round robin brackets may be created at the TD’s discretion, with players being placed at random in either bracket. Should the number of players exceed 24, a third bracket may be created.
Top 4 (top 2 if more than one bracket) after qualifying rounds, and tiebreakers as noted below, will move to a ladder elimination bracket to determine the winner.
Tiebreakers:
If there is a tie for the 4th spot (or 2nd spot if more than one bracket), a one game tie breaker will be played with the winner advancing. If more than 4 players are tied for the 4th spot (or 2nd spot if more than one bracket), a single player EM game will be played by each tied player in each bracket with the highest scoring player advancing.
Playoffs:
A 3 game ladder elimination bracket will be played to determine the winner. After each game is played the lowest scoring player will be eliminated until the winner is determined.
