Women's Self-Defense with Jiu Jitsu in Oakleaf, FL

Ready to learn some awesome self-defense moves and boost your confidence? Join us in Oakleaf for a fun, hands-on Jiu Jitsu session designed just for women! This in-person event is all about empowering you with practical skills and techniques to stay safe. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, come meet great people and have a blast while learning to protect yourself!

What to bring?

• Comfortable workout clothes - shirts with sleeves and long leggings are recommended
• Water

Key points to know:

• Shoes are not worn on the mat. You will be barefoot.
• Water and poweraid available for purchase.
• A waive will be required for you to sign before getting on the mats.
• No shoes are allowed on the mats. When you enter, please place your shoes on the shoe racks in front of the mat.
• Carry your shoes with you if you use the restroom. To maintain clean mats, we ask all students to wear shoes while using the restroom, then take the shoes off to walk on the mats
• The techniques we will teach will have you laying on the floor and taking you out of your comfort zones. Communicate with your instructors on the mat to ease any discomfort or concerns.

Info: Depending on the skill level of the group, either with the coaches and/or higher belts, we will put our knowledge to the test with either live drilling, "situational simulation," or by providing more resistance for the critical thinking of learning the techniques and building your instincts.
