Women's Self Defense Community Class, Sponsored by Huff Construction

This is a complimentary community event in partnership with Stanislaus County Police Activies League for women and girls ages 15+, made possible by the generous sponsorship of Huff Construction.

Join us on Sunday, April 12, from 10-12 p.m. for a hands-on self-defense class designed to build confidence, awareness, and practical, real-world skills.

Hosted by Pilates Brunch Club in partnership with the Stanislaus County Police Activities League, this class will be led by four local law enforcement officers who will guide you through simple, effective techniques you can actually use.

This experience is open to all levels. Whether you are brand new or simply want a refresher, the focus is on learning in a supportive, community-centered environment.

This is not about fear. It’s about confidence, awareness, and knowing how to respond.

Women and girls ages 15+ are welcome to attend. Guardian must be present for minors.

Spots are limited. Once capacity is reached, a waitlist will open.

• Participants under 18 should have a parent or guardian in attendance and complete the waiver

Pilates Brunch Club is a nonprofit organization that creates community-driven wellness events with purpose. Our mission is to support women’s health and uplift domestic violence survivors through local partnerships. In the past year alone, we raised over $30,000 to support this work.
