On Saturday, June 15th, Women Leaders is excited to be hosting a Women's Self-Defense Class for our members and those women in the community that are interested in joining us.
A few weeks ago, Todd Dearmore, former KCSO deputy, BC professor and consultant gave us some hands on examples of how to defend ourselves by using our body as a weapon and has offered to put this class together for us.
We will be meeting at Stockdale Country Club at 9am and the class will likely go until around 11am or 11:30am.
This is going to be an incredible opportunity for us to put into action some key strategies to keep ourselves physically safe.

Instead of charging us for this class, Todd has asked us to make a donation towards our favorite Veteran's support group and Cathi will be collecting all offerings.
