Hope for the Journey is a one-day conference focused on encouraging parents and caretakers of children in foster care or adoption.
Led by professionals, adoptee alumni, practitioners and adoptive parents Hope for the Journey is a four part module conference that will give parents and caretakers an opportunity to grow in their skills and knoweldge of trauma for empowering , correcting and connecting. This conference will focus on the whole child method and provide key insight on attachment styles,sensory processing and the effects of trauma on the brain. Cerificates will be given for those who complete the training.
TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors.
